The 4chan Cooliris Integration plugin for Chrome & GreaseMonkey script for Firefox no longer work on 4chan.
Last week, as quite a few of you noticed, the script stopped working - the 4chan servers would just feed the anti-leech image for all requests from the Cooliris plugin.
I contacted moot about this and the reason the script/plugin is now blocked is because of a recent change in 4chan's anti-leech setup. Apparently, this plugin/script never should have worked in the first place - it only worked because of an issue with the anti-leech setup which has now been corrected. As such, it won't be unblocked.
However, it's not all bad news! I did explain to moot why I created this plugin/script in the first place and why Cooliris doesn't work with 4chan 'out of the box'. To summarise for those interested - 4chan uses regular RSS feeds for the boards, Cooliris needs Media RSS feeds (and more 'detail' than the RSS feeds currently provide).
The Media RSS information has been passed on to 4chan's programmer(s?) and moot believes they might be able to implement it on the 4chan servers themselves at some point (so Cooliris would just work with no additional script/plugin required).
So, Cooliris support on 4chan is unfortunately gone for now but may return in a more 'official' manner in future.
Don't know if anyone's interested but here's some stats from the script:
